As Founder and CEO of Playback Now, JG is charged with keeping the company mission and pushing the business forward. From leading business development to participating in “project enhancement”, JG remains invested in hands-on, day-to-day decisions and direction of the business.

Jonathan, along with Donna, has three grown sons, a beautiful daughter, plus adding grandkids yearly; resides on the shores of Lake Lanier in North Georgia.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Tom is the oldest of 5 siblings.  He moved to Atlanta, GA in 1985 and started working with Playback Now (originally Convention Cassettes).  A few years later he met his wife to be Dwayna on a blind date and married in 1990.  Tom is dad to four beautiful daughters (Sarah-Rose, Bekah, Anna, and Leah) Tom thrives on challenges and pours 100% of himself in all projects.  Tom’s connection with Playback Now was an immediate success and thru the years has managed to never be boring.  Problem solving and simplyfying processes is his constant goal.  Tom is also very devoted to his faith and is often found helping in some capacity at church.

Behind every long-distance visionary is someone who can focus on the small details in the background. Donna has provided the balance to every aspect of the business since the very beginning.  Today,  Donna’s responsibilities include overseeing the finances of the business including staff benefits and payroll. In addition of PBN, she has been on the staff at a local nonprofit, Neighborhood Cooperative Ministry, for the last 10 years where she uses her nursing skills to coordinator a medical ministry program  for the underserved.

Following in his brother Tom’s footsteps, Todd moved from Buffalo to Atlanta in 1988 and joined the growing Playback Now family just as the company was hitting a growth spurt. Todd quickly emerged as a road warrior, traveling from convention to convention and creating a reputation for steady, dependable work under pressure. His easy-going personality contrasted nicely with the fast-paced action and hectic nature of convention travel. Todd enjoys reading, writing, and playing hockey in his spare time. He and his wife, Laurie, have been married since 1993 and have three sons, Alex, Adam, and Christopher.

Someone has to go on the road and get the work done, and Doug Martin is just the guy for the job. Doug did part-time work for Playback Now for several years before realizing it was his dream job all along. He joined Playback Now in 1997 and has been a fixture at the office and on the road ever since. The heart of Playback Now’s work involves live recording in convention centers and hotels across the country, a lifestyle in which Doug thrives on. Popular with his clients, Doug is known for his friendly personality and his willingness and efficiency to get the job done right. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Doug is an avid Buffalo sports fan (Go Bills and Sabres) and has added Formula 1 to his interests (Thanks Netflix). Doug lives in Braselton, GA with his wife Thrisha and their two dogs Dude and McBean.

Denise began with Playback Now as a humble intern seventeen years ago, and has risen to the status of website guru in short order! She learned her skills and graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta and North Carolina Central University. Denise is from Trinidad & Tobago and became a full-fledged, proud American citizen in 2014. Married since 2010, she and her husband David, have two beautiful children – daughter Nalani and son Tafari. The ultimate team player, Denise, has proven to be an adaptable employee at Playback Now, eagerly accepting new challenges year after year.

After 35+ years, a fresh perspective helps transform a company. Matt, the eldest of CEO Jonathan’s children, joined Playback Now in 2013 and was tasked with finding new sources of business. It didn’t take him long before realizing Playback Now needed a creative approach. The standard business model that sustained Playback Now through three decades was evolving, and Matt was the right person to recognize this and change the culture. New business models have developed, and new clients continue to stack. In less than three years, Matt has shifted Playback Now to an adaptable company at the forefront of a technological revolution. Matt is a hockey player in his spare time, who rejects the “millennial” label, yet fully understands the trends of today’s business world.

Julia is a passionate advocate for helping others. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with degrees in the Classics and English Literature, Julia’s love for literature, history, and communication skills shine in her profession. Off-duty, she’s an avid biker, reader, and writer, fueling her creative spirit. Julia’s dedication to making every interaction positive reflects her kind and empathetic nature.
